Landscape Details will install one plant to one thousand plants or more on your property. We secure the plants (often from our own growing operations) and install them according to the plant’s basic needs. This includes digging the proper hole, backfilling with appropriate soil mix, mulching and applying a root stimulator. Plants that we grow and install are guaranteed for one year. Landscape Details will help you create an environmentally and ecologically friendly landscape. There are five ways we can accomplish this goal.

1. Landscape Drawing – This is generally the most expensive way to create a landscape plan. Landscape drawings depict plants to be used in a landscape planting. It is generally used by landscape architects and designers as a map for a landscape design.
2. Walk and Talk Option – This option is generally chosen by the “Do It Yourself” group. It is frequently the least expensive method to creating a new landscape. David will walk with you through your site and give you options for plants designed to fit those locations. Small flags marked with the plant names will be left behind to remind you of what to install in that location. Or you can simply take along a pad and paper and write down the answers to all your questions.
3. Written Plans – This is often the best option for those who will use a combination of services offer by Landscape Details and those services hired or provided by the owner. David employs a questionnaire that helps define your short term and long term goals for your landscape. The questionnaire looks at why you want a landscape and what you want in that landscape. While everyone wants low maintenance (No one has ever asked David to design a high maintenance landscape), David’s questionnaire will help define what is truly “low maintenance” for you. From this questionnaire, David will create a step-by-step, “how to” plan to accomplish your goals. The plan will allow you to budget your time, money and resources to your advantage. If requested, David will also draft a month to month maintenance plan that fits you landscape needs.
4. Full Contracting Services – Allow David to handle all aspects of the landscape installation project.
5. Owner’s Representative – David will represent you in the landscape installation process when you or David hires an outside contractor to install your landscape. As a Professional Landscape Contractor, David has overseen the installation of million dollar landscape projects. David saved one homeowner over $15,000.00 in pruning cost by directly supervising the tree company hired to prune the trees on a new home construction site. In another instance David saved a business over $10.000 when the contractor hired by the company installed a grass variety other than that which was specified by contract.
